Sample list for a Catholic Church Ceremony.
This is just a sample, everything can be changed. You might prefer some more contemporary or liturgical music. It's about making the ceremony personal to you.
For other religious ceremonies please contact me directly for a sample list.
Entrance: This can be divided into two separate pieces. Especially if it is a large church and you have a few bridesmaids to go ahead of you.
Pachebel's Canon for the bridesmaids
A Thousand Years for the big entrance
Lighting of Individual Candles: A short instrumental. Often the entrance piece can carry on for this. Si Beag Si Mor. For The Love Of A Princess from Braveheart

Responsorial Pslam: This can be spoken by one of your readers. Most couples have a song. My favourite is Mo Ghra Thu or the English Version with the same tune Hiding Place.
Alleluia: Again this can be spoken by a reader or sung.
Lighting of Marriage Candle: This is just after you've said your vows. You could have the same piece you had for the individual candles or maybe go with something a little more upbeat such as an instrumental version of Cosmic Love by Florence and the Machine.
Offertory: The presentation of the gifts. My favourite piece for this is Ag Criost and Siol by Sean O'Riada.
Sign of Peace: Peace Be With You!! This is often the first chance couples get to shake hands or share a hug with some guests so I like a nice upbeat piece here. Tabhair Dom Do Lamh is a lovely Irish instrumental.

Communion: Two pieces are usually enough here unless you are having a particularly large crowd. These are some of my favourites Ave Maria, Nella Fantasia, Pie Jesu.
Signing of the Register: Again two pieces are usually enough here. Instrumentals can work best as the formal part of the ceremony is over and your guests will be chatting while you are signing the official documents and posing for photos. You could go contemporary with your choices.
Recessional: I love an upbeat contemporary piece here. My personal favourite is You're My Best Friend by Queen.
Don't see your favourite piece? Contact me to make special requests. I love adding new pieces to my repertoire.
